To help with my tractor trekking I designed my own sleeping box, which I have mounted on a carry-all. As you all know whip lash on a carry-all is not good. To help stop this I used a trailer slipper spring bolted to a solid draw bar with two bolts and a strap bolting it to the hydraulic arms, enabling it to float and stay level. I am now looking for a set of 16inch wheel weights for the front wheels to keep the front end of the tractor more firmly on the ground (see details in the Help Wanted section of the magazine). At this point in time I have travel
ed approximately 100kms with this set up and so far it is working well.
